    Albert G. Frier, 96 of Hannibal, died at 1:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008 at Beth Haven Nursing Home. A Mass of Christian buiral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008, at Hold Family Catholic Church. Burial Shields American Legion Post No. 55 will be at Holy Family Cemetery. Father Roy Bauer will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home. A prayer service home.

    Mr. Frier was born June 21, 1912 in Hannibal to William and Elizabeth Becker Frier.
    He was married to Margaret O'Connor on Oct. 8, 1942. She preceded him in death on May 6, 2002.
    Survivors include one daughter, Nora Frier of Columbia, Mo.; three sons, Tom Frier (Marilena) of Quincy, Ill., Albert Frier Jr. of Springfield, Ill. [3rd son not listed on my copy]; four grandsons, Ryan Frier (Jennifer) of Lenexa, Kan., David Frier (Melissa) [place missing from my copy]; Eamonn Frier of Henderson, N.C.; two step-grandchildren, Scott Seddon (Tonya) of Wooldridge, Mo., and C [ends], one great frandosn, Colin Frier; one great granddaughter, Katelyn Frier; and nine step-great grandchildren [missing] Charley Seddon, Brooke Bartz, and Jonathan, Justin and Amber Lancaster; numerous nieces, nephews, gre [ends]

    Mr. Frier was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, John and William Jr., one sister, Mary.

    He was a graduate of St. Joseph's Academy (later McCooey Memorial High School) and attended Quincy C [ends]. Produce Company for more than 50 years as a salesman throughout Northeast Missouri. He enjoyed huntin [ends]
    He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving his country during World War II in Europe. He was a longtime m [ends] American Legion Post No. 55, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2446.
